Our Family Pictures

Finally, only after almost 11 months we had our family picture taken professionally. Savanna Tate, my sister in law, took our Family Christmas picture a few weeks ago at Wheeler Farm. I'm excited to get my Christmas cards out. This will be the first year that I have sent Christmas cards out...and I am super excited. I didn't post the picture that we decided to use for this years Christmas card, but here are just a few of my favorites. Again, thank you to Savanna Tate Photography for doing such a fantastic job!

Allie's first steps! What a big girl she is!!

Our little girl took her first steps on Halloween!! She is getting so BIG! She gets so exited to see she can do it all by herself! Wow...What an accomplishment. Tim was able to get it on video. Here is one of the videos I took today after she has been doing it for a couple of days! Hence, Tim is not the one taping this one! I will try posting the video of her first steps when I get my video camera to work!

Celebrating Halloween 2009

On Friday night, we got together with my side of the family to carve pumpkins. The kids all dressed up, we ate pizza and carved pumpkins. One of my family traditions growing up was cooking the pumpkin seeds. We enjoyed eating the crispy pumpkins my dad would cook for us. This of course was something new for those that married into the Tate family. I think the in laws were taken off by this when they first got married. I know Tim was. Well anyway, Steve, my little bro still looks forward to this..and he spent the entire time cooking up the pumpkins seeds...However, the ended up a little over cooked:)

The next morning we took Allie to "BOO at the ZOO" with Brooke, Ty, Tate and Bryson. Then afterwards we used our free red robin gift certificates we got at the Zoo and ate lunch at Red Robin. It was great! Here are a few of the pictures from that.Me, Tim and Allie at the Zoo

Allie is 10 months old!

During the last month, I have been taking Allie to story time at the Taylorsville Library every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! She loves it. I was surprised about the number of babies and toddlers come. There is usually around 30-40 kids and the first 15 minutes we sing songs like, head, shoulders, knees and toes, I'm a little tea pot, and humpty dumpty. Then the last 15 minutes they bring out the toys for the kids to play with. Allie just has a blast and doesn't even care if I am there! She loves the kids! It's been a fun thing for us to do. I think she is learning a lot even though she is only 10 months.
We have also done some fun October activities. We went to Gardner Village with my two great friends; Holly Caten and Marin Bywater and their kids to look at the Witches. We also took Allie to "Thriller" at Wheeler Farm the other night with Holly and her family.

Allie is now our little climber! She is climbing up the stairs at every chance she can get! She is wanting to be even more independent. She pushes her little walker around, and occasionally she lets go and is standing all by herself, until she realizes she what she is doing..and then puts herself back down on the floor.
